AGATA – Il male della musica

Italian crossover act AGATA has just released its new single “Il Male Della Musica”, produced by the band and mix and master by Francesco Felcini at Parsifal Music Studio.

It’s an important milestone in terms of maturity and composition, a work that marks the starting point of a new musical journey for the band as they themselves explained: “We chose to focus this new song on a very straight concept and to communicate it in the clearest way possible in the title. “Il male della musica” (which means “the evil of music”) is settling for mediocre models, we live in a world where Andy Warhol’s famous prediction that in the future everyone will be famous for 15 minutes has come true in the most catastrophic way imaginable. Social media has become a sounding board for the voice of each of us, billions of individuals who want to open their mouths at the same time, it doesn’t matter what is being said, it’s a tower of babel where voices get confused, they emit sounds, but they are unable to communicate with each other in this din. Through this chaos only the voices of the strongest emerge but they have no content. We refuse to listen to these voices and we want to encourage everyone to take an active role in music. Regarding the name of the band, Agata, it was chosen because it is the name of a precious stone with physical and mental power, a lucky charm capable of attracting the strength needed to go against the wind in life. We have many new ideas and after this first chapter we can’t wait to come out with some great new songs and gigs. Stay tuned!”
