THE CASE – Fever
On their creative process, the band reckons they “tried to create a space where originality prevails, to detach themselves from the current musical cliches while glorifying their lord and savior David Bowie.”
‘Fever’ is achingly vulnerable, dramatic, and heavy, radiating grunge energies throughout the song. They’ve always used powerful lyrics to air their messages while frequently weaponizing the vocals, snarling and howling their pain into the ether.
The Case explores ideas and ideologies we as a society put on a pedestal, infusing each track with poignant melodic propulsion imbued with solid guitars and dreamlike melancholy.
In a statement about ‘Fever,’ The Case said, ” ‘Fever’ is about the passage of time, about the failed attempts to correlate the quality of a relationship with its duration and intensity. The song is about happiness, sadness, breakup, and forgiveness. It would be love if we were to associate our new single with just one word.”
‘Fever’ hits all the marks for sonic seduction, from powerful message to visceral performance and intense chorus. Using the powerful vocals as a tool, The Case creates a liminal space between two points of view, making a production that emotionally resonates with people on a personal and universal level.
The newest song ensures to fan our inner flames in a more connected and alt-rock wonder, and we’re eager to hear the band’s last piece of Enrico Tiberi’s collaboration. So stay tuned!
