C’MON TIGRE – Vanta
Vanta is the third track C’mon Tigre releases ahead of their upcoming album, following K//A\K//A and Driver Idle. It is also the most unexpected of the three.
Within the architecture of LUMINA Immersive Frequencies, a technological dancefloor, this track holds a space entirely its own: the only acoustic breath in a project built on electronic frequencies and visual tension. A necessary counterpoint. The moment when everything slows down enough to feel the weight of what came before and what is still to come.
Vanta becomes an expanded visual, a mirage that blurs eight characters trapped within a digital desert. It tells one of their possible realities in a world shaped by the age of digital reproducibility becoming self-generative. A loss of clear boundaries where there is no longer any distinction between human and machine.
In this fusion, we lose control: we know what we would want, but we no longer know what we are doing. The values that guide us change rapidly, too rapidly. We are not fast enough to keep up, destined to lose ourselves in a desert that cannot quench our thirst and that has nothing but mirages to offer.
