BURN – Night

With the second single, “Night”, BURN delve into the realm which blends ambient sounds, vocal downtempo, and a highly emotional electronica finalé. “Night” is the closing track of the album, titled “Chopped and Shattered”, which will have its physical release on CD. The limited edition of 150 copies includes nine tracks, from “Pockets” to “Night”.

With the “Night’s” dramatic final words, “it smells like ash”, BURN make a full circle of meanings, completing the story which is behind the majority of the songs on the album. The story of love. One that can be complicated, tormenting, toxic, alluring, tempting, heavy or light, happy or sad. In other words, full of emotional adjectives which can go in every direction, sometimes all at the same time.

We are BURN! We make electronic music with  elements of industrial and trip hop. Our sound is full of chopped vocals and fluttering hearts. Or perhaps the other way around 😉

The music is made by Bartek / Dxcv3r, known for his project The $cience and ThunderFuzz. The album of the latter, called “Anti Body”, has been widely appreciated by the trip hop scene, and one of its tracks, “Horizon”, has been included on a “Down Tempo Fix, Vol. 1” compilation released but the American label, H1 Massive

Ewa, more broadly known as Holy Høly, has recently released a solo album, “262626”, which received an 8/10 rating from the Interia Muzyka portal, which referred to it as “a successful sentimental trip back to the 1990s”. Holy plays the bass in the Noce / zespół and MSM punk bands, as well as the piano in an ambient duo with Daniel Löwen. She also contributes her vocals to other music producers.

Together, DXCV3R and Holy Høly, have previously contributed one of their tracks, “RUN!”, to a compilation “Music From Poland” released by the Go boys records.
