HATE MOSS – Mercimek Days
Mercimek Days was recorded live at Karga in Kadıköy, an underground venue on the eastern shore of Istanbul.
“The original idea was to record a live session surrounded by friends and fellow musicians, in order to truly capture the vibe of the place. But on the very same day — March 19, 2025 — the mayor of Istanbul, the main opposition figure to the current government, was arrested. Needless to say, the situation quickly became complicated. With protests erupting and social media access blocked, we had to rearrange everything. That’s why we decided to dedicate this EP to all those who, like our friends, continue to fight for their rights every day.”
