« we had three days to imagine, shoot, and edit the video for “shifting forms.” A unity of place with “change my name” and “dormant plants” brought us back to the same spot, in a pine forest up in the mountains. i wanted to convey how our perceptions change over time, depending on where we are and who we’re with. i also wanted to use very DIY effects: simple morphing and lenses placed in front of the camera to play with the light and shift the focus.
“L’Amore è forte” è il nuovo singolo di Caterina Ferri, brano estratto dall’album “Caterina Ferri canta Don Backy (Questo sconosciuto)” (IMC/Artist First), una canzone che nasce da dentro, da quell’angolo profondo dove l’amore arriva all’improvviso, senza chiedere permesso. Non è un amore calmo o ragionato: è un’esplosione, un vortice che ti entra in testa, ti stringe il cuore, ti sconvolge.
“Poteva essere” è il nuovo singolo di Amanda Vitale, un brano pop in chiave swing moderna che esplora le infinite possibilità della vita e le strade non prese. Prodotto da Andy dei Bluvertigo e Artu10000000 (Arturo De Biasi), riflette sulla voglia di cambiamento e rivoluzione personale.
“Echoes in Blue / Spirit of Calypso” (Bluebelldisc, distribuzione AWAL), il nuovo doppio singolo della pianista e compositrice trentinaIsabella Turso. Due brani per pianoforte solo, ispirati alla bellezza selvaggia e spirituale di Malta, che raccontano un viaggio musicale tra mare, roccia e cielo, in cui la musica non descrive, ma suggerisce: è risonanza emotiva, paesaggio interiore, connessione.
“Tutti sanno tutto” il singolo inedito di Andrea Mandelli, brano eclettico e metaforico, scritto con Riccardo Di Filippo e Agostino Angelini, (Nubue – Buena Suerte / Believe).
Talking about the video, which features actual footage of his parents’ wedding, Richard says: “As soon as we chose that song for a single, I knew it was going to be a wedding video. Watching the footage from my parents made me so uncomfortable. I’ve only known them to be so angry and disappointed by their relationship and each other, so watching them in tears of joy was deeply strange – as sad as it felt pathetic. The irony of that event feels so on point with the lyrics that I find it hard to divorce them from each other now. So to speak.”.
I brani sono prevalentemente di taglio pop orchestrale con un uso oculato dell’elettronica con un cantato che spinge molto sull’enfasi melodica.
Molto personale l’album del cantautore romano che scandaglia la canzone d’autore italiana ma filtrando il tutto in un prisma sonoro dalle volute psichedeliche.
“Blossom” è un manifesto delicato, un gesto gentile: ci ricorda che è nella fragilità che germoglia la forza, e che anche la tenacia può avere il volto della dolcezza.
“Conta il viaggio” è il nuovo singolo del cantautore romano Massimiliano Martelli, brano che racchiude nel titolo il cuore del suo messaggio: la vita è un percorso fatto di ostacoli e meraviglie, e ogni esperienza, nel bene o nel male, è parte essenziale della nostra crescita.
