CLAUDIO CONTI – Verità
After six years of silence and four English-language records, the Italian singer-songwriter returns with his first album performed entirely in Italian. Self-produced and steeped in baroque pop, psychedelia, jangle pop, and the orchestral sounds of late-’60s Italian productions, Kierkegaarden is a deeply nostalgic and cinematic collection built around memory, fate, lost innocence, and the passage of time.
The album campaign begins this month with “Verità”, the lead single, a song about the elusive nature of truth and the desire to rewind the past and alter the sequence of events.
Across the album, Conti moves between Mediterranean and American landscapes, autobiographical memories, and neo-noir imagery, from Monterey and Sunset Boulevard to stories of abandonment, illness, art, and vanished relationships.
